About The Position

The Assembler I performs entry-level assembly operations to produce quality products in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules. The role develops proficiency in assembly techniques while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. Employees contribute to the company’s SOAR operating model through a commitment to safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer focus.

Cleveland Wheel and Brake Systems (CWBS), part of Signia Aerospace, provides aircraft braking systems and components, including wheels, brakes, and hydraulic components, for general aviation, turboprop, business jet, rotorcraft, and military markets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical assembly techniques.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Basic quality inspection methods.
• Safety awareness.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with company values, including ownership, integrity, teamwork, continuous improvement, and honoring commitments.

Nice To Haves

• 0–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
