About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Pre-Sell Account Manager to join their team. This role involves managing assigned accounts to increase sales volume, market share, product distribution, and space allocation, while ensuring excellent customer service. The position requires taking inventory, placing orders to prevent stockouts and manage out-of-date products, rotating and stocking products, and executing promotions. The Account Manager will also build displays, participate in store resets, create and use point-of-sale signage, and complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time. The company is jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo, with a long legacy in beverage production and distribution across five states.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of sales experience in the beverage industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service
  • Takes inventory and places orders for future delivery to avoid out-of-stocks and reduction of out-of-date product.
  • Rotates products, cleans shelving, and stocks product from the store’s backroom onto the shelves and displays in coolers and vending equipment.
  • Sells and executes promotions, solicits placement of equipment and sells sufficient product inventory.
  • Provides excellent service to assigned accounts; creates and maintains goodwill with all customers.
  • Builds displays and participates with store resets to stimulate sales.
  • Creates and utilizes point of sale signage.
  • Completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
