About The Position

The Pre-Sell Representative / Merchandiser is responsible for servicing assigned retail accounts through in-store merchandising, inventory management, product replenishment, and promotional execution. This field-based role is essential to driving sales growth, maximizing product visibility, and building strong relationships with store personnel. Representatives independently manage a designated territory to ensure shelves, displays, and promotional placements meet company standards while identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve account performance. The role requires active engagement with customers and retail staff to drive product sales, enhance brand awareness, and support overall sales objectives. Using effective selling techniques and strong product knowledge, representatives recommend solutions, answer customer questions, and communicate key product features and benefits. In addition, the role includes executing store resets, product transitions, and merchandising updates to support seasonal changes, promotional initiatives, and evolving planogram requirements. All reset activities must be completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines while maintaining company merchandising and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in merchandising, route sales, beverage distribution, CPG, or retail account management preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
  • Comfortable with physical work including lifting, bending, and stocking
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

  • Ensure pricing and promotional programs are properly executed.
  • Develop positive relationships with store managers and department personnel.
  • Identify opportunities for additional product placement and sales growth.
  • Report market conditions, competitor activity, and account feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records using mobile reporting tools.
