The Pre-Service Representative is responsible for the registration and scheduling process for complex patients within the Patient Engagement Center. This role involves updating the system with registration, scheduling, and insurance information, as well as preparing patient disability and out-of-work/school paperwork. The representative will discuss financial obligations, explain regulatory forms, and answer related questions. They will work in multiple systems during patient-facing interactions and telephone call receipts to ensure accurate registration and support clinical workflow. The position also requires understanding and supporting the practice and hospital's strategic plan, policies, procedures, and initiatives, while representing Albany Med Health System and exemplifying its guiding principles to ensure an optimal patient experience and promote safety.
