About The Position
The Pre School Teacher Substitute supervises children in an assigned classroom and helps prepare them for activities. The role also supports children with eating habits, restroom use, and personal hygiene; ensures they receive physical and medical assistance when necessary; and helps prepare them for dismissal. Additional duties may include light janitorial, food preparation, and clerical work. The substitute participates in applicable in-service trainings and meetings.
Requirements
- Have reliable transportation prior to the date of hire and throughout employment.
- Hold CPR/First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children in the assigned classroom.
- Help prepare children for activities.
- Assist children with eating habits, restroom use, and personal hygiene.
- Ensure each child receives physical and medical assistance when necessary.
- Help prepare children for and during dismissal.
- Perform light janitorial, food preparation, and clerical duties as needed.
- Participate in applicable in-service trainings and meetings.
