About The Position

The Pre School Teacher Substitute supervises children in an assigned classroom and helps prepare them for activities. The role assists children with eating habits, restroom use, and personal hygiene, and ensures they receive physical or medical assistance when necessary. The substitute also helps prepare children for dismissal and during dismissal. Other duties may include light janitorial work, food preparation, clerical duties, and participation in applicable in-service trainings or meetings.

Requirements

• Have reliable transportation prior to the date of hire and throughout employment.
• Hold CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the assigned classroom.
