The Pre-Sell Salesman is responsible for achieving sales goals and distribution targets by servicing and developing assigned accounts. This role involves selling all products in accordance with company guidelines and TABC regulations, and supervising a team of drivers, assistant drivers, and merchandisers to ensure customer satisfaction after the sale of product. The salesman schedules routes to ensure all customers are visited regularly, identifies customer needs, and implements effective solutions to help customers sell more product. Building and maintaining an effective rapport with customers, continuously increasing product knowledge to become an expert resource, and effectively merchandising in all accounts using displays and point-of-sale (POS) items are key responsibilities. The position also requires maintaining adequate inventory, reducing out-of-stocks, accurately and timely entering order information into handheld sales enablement software, monitoring product freshness, and auditing the condition of all POS to ensure brand representation meets company standards. Additionally, the role involves completing assigned training, seminars, classes, and submitting sales, incentive, and other required reports accurately and on time.
