StrangeBee
•€210 - €250•Remote

About The Position

StrangeBee is hiring its first US-based Pre-Sales Engineer to serve as the technical partner to the sales team and a trusted advisor to customers, from initial demos through long-term success. The role is remote and US-based, with an East Coast location preferred to overlap with European teams. The position works closely with Account Executives, the Solutions team, and the VP of Sales to expand StrangeBee’s presence in the region, building on existing customers and established processes. The employee will initially be engaged through the Employer of Record Deel and will move to StrangeBee’s US entity after it opens. The role reports to the Head of Solutions and offers an annual on-target earnings range of $210,000–$250,000, with 70% fixed and 30% variable compensation. The Pre-Sales Engineer leads technical sales cycles, including discovery, tailored demonstrations, and proofs of concept. They also support customer onboarding and act as a technical advisor throughout the license lifecycle, including adoption, best practices, expansion, and renewals, in coordination with the support team. The role represents StrangeBee at US trade shows and conferences and communicates customer and field insights to Product and Sales teams in Paris and Barcelona. Travel includes an onboarding period at the Paris office, visits to headquarters twice a year thereafter, and US trade shows and customer visits. In the first three months, the engineer is expected to learn TheHive and the company’s demo and POC processes and independently lead initial customer sessions. By six months, they should be operating autonomously in their time zone, leading POCs and onboardings, and contributing to deals closed with Account Executives. By 12 months, they should be a trusted technical reference for US customers and prospects and help shape the division between pre-sales and post-sales as the team grows.
