About The Position

Pacific Coast Fresh Company is hiring a Pre-Pick Order Selector to fill produce orders at its Portland, Oregon distribution center. The role uses picking sheets and/or a wearable device to select pounds and individual items, build and tag pallets, and help maintain accurate warehouse inventory. The position offers opportunities to learn and advance into other roles within the company.

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check before beginning work.
• Ability to use and understand portable communications in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and professionally.
• Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak, read, and write in English to understand and process paperwork.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Passion for meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous electric pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders using a picking sheet and/or wearable device for all pounds and individual items.
• Build pallets and tag them appropriately.
• Operate a pallet jack to pull additional product as needed.
• Par and restock item racks.
• Pull stock for broken inventory.
• Work cooperatively with checkers to fix errors.
• Stack produce cases.
• Clean the warehouse.
• Return leftover inventory to warehouse stock when finished.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
