About The Position

Causeway Auto Outlet is looking for a motivated, personable, and results-driven Pre-Owned Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Metairie, LA. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for automobiles, and is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience from the first interaction through the completion of the sale.

Requirements

Previous automotive sales experience preferred, but motivated candidates with strong sales or customer service experience are encouraged to apply
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, professional, and energetic attitude
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting the right pre-owned vehicle based on their needs, preferences, and budget
Build strong relationships with customers and provide a welcoming, no-pressure sales experience
Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives
Explain vehicle features, options, pricing, financing, and available protection products
Respond promptly to internet, phone, and walk-in inquiries
Follow up with prospective and previous customers to develop repeat and referral business
Maintain an organized customer follow-up process and accurate records
Work closely with management and the finance team to ensure a smooth purchasing experience
Maintain a professional appearance and showroom environment
Meet or exceed individual and dealership sales goals
