About The Position
We are a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for a full-time Pre-Op/PACU RN to join our team.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Ability to collaborate and work as a team with staff, physicians, and other allied health professionals.
- Strong clinical skills including experience with IVs.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and family members.
Nice To Haves
- Pre-Op/PACU experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform an appropriate pre- or post-operative assessment on patients based on their procedure per physician orders and center guidelines.
- Provide safe, individualized nursing care for each patient during their stay.
- Administer medications and perform documentation in accordance with physician orders and clinical policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, Quality Improvement, and Safety Initiatives as necessary.
