Performs pre-finishing duties, including preparing surfaces for spray operations, applying stain and sealant, drying and bundling materials for shipping. Reads work orders and pulls needed materials to complete the job. Informs lead or management of material shortages. Inspects finished products to ensure workmanship and quality adheres to company standards prior to shipping. Oversees disposal of flammable, toxic chemical (rags and filters) and other debris per safety/ hazardous materials requirements; ensures that workshop is kept clean and orderly.

Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent work experience.
This is an entry level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training.
Knowledge of safety procedures while performing tasks.
Knowledge of use of hand held and mechanical painting app
