Apprentice Cabinetmaker - Custom Architectural Millwork
About The Position
Executive Millwork has been Western Canada's premier commercial woodwork shop for over 40 years. We design and build the architectural millwork behind hospitality venues, large public spaces, and complex commercial projects across the region. We're known for craftsmanship, on-time delivery, and a team that's been doing this long enough to know what good looks like. With several major commercial projects beginning—including work supporting a new event centre development—we're looking for motivated Apprentice Cabinetmakers who are ready to develop their skills alongside experienced Journeypersons in a professional manufacturing environment. If you're passionate about quality craftsmanship and want to work on custom architectural millwork rather than repetitive production cabinetry, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirements
- 3rd or 4th Year Cabinetmaker Apprentice (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to read basic shop drawings
- Experience with woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and dependable
- Team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Manufacture custom architectural millwork
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Assemble cabinets and architectural components
- Learn proper material selection and hardware installation
- Operate woodworking equipment safely
- Maintain quality standards throughout production
- Help keep projects on schedule
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Work as part of a collaborative shop team
