About The Position

This faculty position supports pre-clinical instruction and/or clinical instruction and supervision of patient care in preventive and restorative dentistry. The role requires knowledge of dental school educational processes, restorative and preventive techniques, dental materials, and emerging digital applications to clinical restorative treatment. No previous teaching or practice experience is required for pre-clinical instruction; clinical instruction and patient-care supervision require at least three years of private dental practice experience.

Requirements

• DDS, DMD, or international equivalent.
• Completion of training from an accredited dental school program.
• Active license to practice dentistry.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Knowledge of dental school educational processes.
• Knowledge of restorative and preventive information and techniques.
• Knowledge of dental materials and emerging digital applications to clinical restorative treatment.
• At least three years of private dental practice experience for clinical instruction and supervision of patient care; no previous teaching or practice experience is required for pre-clinical instruction.
