Pre-Assembly Lead Operator 2nd Shift
About The Position
The warehouse of the future is equipped with our iFollow autonomous robots instead of forklifts and our Atlas 2D pallet shuttles or eScala tote shuttles that allow for high-density storage (no wasted space!) and scalable solutions. As part of Stow and over the span of more than 40 years, we’ve grown into a company with 10 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries. Early 2021, we opened our US Office and have already grown to 70 people. It's exciting times to be at Stow! This role is located in Adairsville, GA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials in accordance with OSHA lifting guidelines
- Familiarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand tools
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and detecting anomalies.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a high-pace, mass production or manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the team that assembles parts and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules
- Operate and safely handle power tools, packaging tools, including torque wrenches and other hand tools
- Lead the setup and clean out of assembly cells by operate overhead crane, running electric stackers
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
- Perform visual and functional inspections of assembled frames
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to lead
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Load and unload assembly cells using electric-pallet mover
