About The Position

The Pre-Arranged Funeral Counselor is responsible for meeting personal monthly and annual sales targets through account management, new business development, and sales. The role targets clients in the assigned region, develops business from leads, referrals, or the counselor’s own knowledge base, and builds relationships with existing clients through service and support. Duties must be performed consistently with the company’s mission, values, policies, and procedures. The position requires comfort with in-home sales and group presentations, as well as integrity, dedication, and a desire to help others while earning a competitive income. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High level of integrity, dedication, and desire to succeed.

• Comfort using computer systems in a sales environment.

Nice To Haves

• Strong sales experience in the funeral or life insurance industry is preferred.
• Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management systems is a plus.
• A valid insurance license may be required in some states.
