Pre-Analytic Technician
About The Position
As a Pre-Analytic Technician at Monroe Regional Hospital, you will conduct tests and analyses that support diagnosis and treatment, helping ensure patients receive accurate and timely test results. The role requires knowledge of test combinations, acceptable minimum specimen volumes, test synonyms and abbreviations, and how tests correspond to specimen types. You will also complete and log routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and workstations and keep work areas clean and stocked. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of test combinations and acceptable minimum volumes.
- Familiarity with test synonyms and abbreviations and cross-referencing tests to specimen types.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
