About The Position

The Behavioral Health Practice Transformation Advisor (PTA) serves as the primary provider-facing resource for partnering with behavioral health providers, community mental health centers, health systems, and integrated delivery organizations. The role supports improvements in quality performance and adoption of evidence-based best practices, while also advancing behavioral health data exchange capabilities, including ADT feed use, clinical data sharing, supplemental data acquisition, and reporting workflows. The position aims to improve behavioral health quality measures, provider accountability, and transition-of-care management across inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient settings. It serves as a liaison for behavioral health performance initiatives and supports providers’ participation in data exchange to enable timely member intervention and performance monitoring. Expected results include improved follow-up after hospitalization and emergency department visits for mental illness and substance use disorder, increased provider participation in data exchange, better access to real-time admission, discharge, and transfer notifications, stronger adoption of quality improvement strategies, and improved identification and intervention for high-risk members. This is a remote role, and the candidate must reside in Louisiana. A secure home network is required, and travel to provider sites may be requested, though it is rare. The position is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours.
