About The Position

The Practice Supervisor has accountability for and oversight of the department, shift, or area and supervises its daily activities. The leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior while ensuring individual and team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. The role requires flexibility to travel to satellite offices.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant healthcare experience.
• An associate degree in business administration or an equivalent field; a high school diploma and additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and site/cost center-based management.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through on solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of third-party payers.
• Knowledge of computer software programs including Word, Excel, Sage Intergy, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
