Medical Practice Manager
About The Position
Piedmont Urgent Care is seeking a results-driven leader to join their team as a Practice Manager. This role involves overseeing daily operations, inspiring teams, and ensuring outstanding patient care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced manager skilled in driving efficiency, leading teams, and delivering top-tier customer service. The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing clinic operations, managing both clinical and administrative teams, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This role is key in implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing workflows, and fostering a positive work culture.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience (healthcare, hospitality, or retail management preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred
- Ability to travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed
- A proactive approach to delivering an exceptional patient experience
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with healthcare operations, insurance processes, and coding (ICD-9, CPT) is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Manage clinical and administrative staff to ensure top-tier patient care and customer service
- Implement strategies to achieve budget goals and key performance indicators
- Set and communicate annual goals aligned with Piedmont Urgent Care’s mission and objectives
- Partner with clinical leadership to uphold regulatory and patient care standards
- Oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and team growth initiatives
- Ensure adequate medical supplies and equipment availability
- Collaborate with marketing teams to increase center visibility and patient volume
- Uphold Piedmont Urgent Care’s core values of kindness, excellence, empowerment, resilience, and proactive service
- Support staffing and operational needs by traveling to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required
