Practice Manager 2 - OBGYN
About The Position
The Practice Manager 2 oversees one St. Luke’s Magic Valley OBGYN clinic with two suites located within the Magic Valley Hospital and MV Medical Office Building. The clinic provides specialized obstetric and gynecologic care, including onsite ultrasound, non-stress testing, and laboratory services. The manager supports a collaborative team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff, with a focus on patient-centered care, team development, an inclusive culture, and operational excellence. The role monitors compliance with applicable governmental regulations and practice standards; leads the development and implementation of short- and long-term practice goals; manages staff, operational issues, client concerns, and the budget; and establishes procedures and standards to improve office efficiency and effectiveness. It requires in-depth knowledge of management, accounting, human resources, law, ethics, economics, strategic planning, and information systems. The manager communicates accurate and pertinent information to providers and staff to facilitate effective, efficient patient care and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience, or an associate’s degree and 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma and 6 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of management, accounting, human resources, law, ethics, economics, strategic planning, and information systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor practice activities to ensure compliance with applicable governmental regulations and practice standards.
- Lead the identification and implementation of short- and long-term practice goals and ensure their achievement.
- Manage staff, operational issues, client issues, and the budget.
- Establish work procedures and standards to improve office efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate accurate and pertinent information with providers and staff to facilitate effective and efficient patient care.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
