About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. This role involves driving revenue generating activities, executing operational focus areas, meeting productivity standards, and effectively managing time, planning, and multitasking. The Practice Director will also be responsible for attracting, sourcing, training, developing, and retaining staff, achieving pricing goals, and demonstrating expert knowledge of the practice group. They must quickly recognize and act upon business trends, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, motivate and inspire the team, provide recognition, manage change efforts, and facilitate resolutions with internal staff, clients, and candidates. Additionally, the role includes leading customer retention and expansion strategies, building customer loyalty through superior service, and leading with character to build trust, respect, and credibility. The Practice Director will promote and support an inclusive work environment, take responsibility for their actions, create a positive team culture, understand and support others, follow through on commitments, and treat others fairly and consistently. Business generation, revenue, and pricing goals are based on location. The total headcount is up to 4, including the practice director.

Requirements

  • 1+ years talent solutions and/or management or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven performance in talent manager/director role.
  • Demonstrated success in business generation, leading and driving business development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, databases and other technology systems.
