The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. This role involves driving revenue generating activities, executing operational focus areas, meeting productivity standards, managing time effectively, and making quality decisions. The Practice Director is also responsible for reaching target performance metrics, attracting and sourcing talent, and training, developing, and retaining staff. They must achieve pricing goals, possess expert knowledge of their practice group, and quickly recognize and act upon business trends. Effective communication, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivating and leading by example, providing recognition, managing change, and facilitating resolutions are key. Additionally, the role focuses on leading customer retention and expansion strategies and building customer loyalty through superior service. The Practice Director leads with character, builds trust, respect, and credibility, promotes an inclusive work environment, and takes responsibility for their actions. They create a positive, collaborative team culture, strive to understand and support others, follow through on commitments, and treat others fairly and consistently. Business generation, revenue, and pricing goals are based on location. The total headcount for the team is up to 4, including the Practice Director.
