The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. The Practice Director will drive revenue generating activities/practice group performance, execute operational focus areas, meet productivity standards, effectively manage time, plan and multi-task, and make quality decisions. They will also be responsible for reaching target performance metrics, attracting and sourcing talent, and training, developing, and retaining staff. Additionally, the Practice Director will achieve pricing goals, possess expert knowledge of the practice group, and quickly recognize and act upon business trends. They will communicate effectively, promote a culture of collaboration, motivate, inspire and lead by example, provide recognition and celebrate successes, manage change efforts, facilitate resolution with internal staff, clients and candidates, and conduct effective meetings. The role also involves leading customer retention and expansion strategy, building customer loyalty by providing superior service, and leading with character, building trust, respect and credibility through actions and behaviors.
