Primary responsibility is sales with an emphasis on "New Sales" ie.. New Clients, New Markets, New Business Lines within Sector. Business development: identify and pursue new client/project opportunities through networking, proposals and presentations. Networking: Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to promote the firm and establish connections. See and be seen. Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to capture new business opportunities. Sales New sales, new markets and new programs are expected and measured. Responsible for overall practice sales goal. Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to capture new business opportunities. Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to offer additional services to existing clients to increase revenue. Networking in New Areas: Attend regional industry events, conferences, and workshops to build connections and promote the firm’s services. Targeted Client Acquisition: Focus on acquiring clients that offer long-term, high-value projects to enhance revenue stability. Responsible for knowing the market rates (ie: fees) that can be charged to maximize value and ROI. Responsible for fee management, reviewing and checking proposals, including LOIs across sectors. Typical Duties & Responsibilities Prepares Practice Growth Plan/Business Development Plan annually. Market Analysis, budget planning. Identifies future leaders within the practice. Responsibility for the Direction of Others (Supervisor Responsibilities) Coordinate and Collaborate with Sector Program Managers. May serve in a dual Client Manger Role requiring the direction of a design team.
