Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior MEP Practice Builder to expand our MEP practice in Florida! This role involves project management in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities, requiring the ability to oversee MEP design from concept to completion, including continuous interface with design teams and clients. The successful candidate will have proven design experience with comfort and MEP systems and related controls, strong verbal and written communication skills, and critical thinking ability. They will be responsible for writing responses to RFPs/RFQs, working individually or in a multi-discipline team, and mentoring/coordinating designers and technical staff. This role demands managing and delivering tasks under minimal supervision and guidance, with a strong desire to grow and lead a MEP practice. Practice Builders at Kimley-Horn manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as positive leaders.
