This is a nighttime position at the Raymond Laborde Correctional Center within the Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections – Corrections Services. The mission of the Department of Corrections is to promote public safety and strengthen communities through fair, professional, and responsive corrections services. This role involves performing nursing and care of inmates within a state correctional facility, managing a wide spectrum of conditions from emergency response and acute trauma to chronic disease, wound care, and mental health. The position offers set, predictable schedules, a supportive multidisciplinary team, and the security of working in a facility where security is always present.
