About The Position
McGill University is seeking a Practical Instructor for Jazz Piano at the Schulich School of Music for the 2026-27 academic year. This position is for the course Practical Instruction (Jazz Piano) and will run from August 31, 2026, to November 30, 2026. The salary will be based on the salary scale according to MCLIU Appendix 3. Requirements
- M. Mus or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated skill in jazz piano teaching at an advanced level.
- Active concert career as jazz pianist on national and international scene.
- Expert knowledge of jazz repertoire and techniques.
- Potential to recruit high-level students.
- Demonstrated pedagogical abilities.
