About The Position

The Account Manager, Corporate Communications, leads high-impact communications programs for clients, from natural resources, to public sector, to healthcare, to real estate, finance, and social impact. You’ll lead multiple accounts, draft communications strategies for both internal and external audiences, shape narratives, drive meaningful media coverage, and bring forward ideas that support our clients in all facets of their communications needs. Requirements

  • 4–5 years of PR or communications experience in consumer tech, consumer lifestyle, or both
  • Interest in the public sector, natural resources, business, health care, and social impact
  • Confidence leading client conversations and navigating multi-stakeholder environments
  • A strong track record of securing meaningful media results
  • Clear and compelling writing skills
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and maintain strong organization in a fast-moving environment
  • Commitment to excellence in your work
  • Attention to detail and pride in producing client-ready work
  • Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day account management with a focus on strong communication, clarity, and follow-through
  • Develop communications strategies that support client goals and deliver measurable impact
  • Collaborate with teams to build integrated programs that cut through noise and resonate with audiences
  • Draft impactful communications strategies, with a focus on internal and stakeholder communications, issues management, and public relations
  • Secure high-value media coverage across national and business publications
  • Draft and edit pitches, media briefs, thought leadership content and other client-facing materials
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving when met with an obstacle
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing all communications from calls to daily email updates
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Account Associates, helping them prioritize and grow in their roles
  • Support Directors and VPs with research, insights, and new business opportunities as required
  • Contribute to Talk Shop’s culture and internal initiatives
