About The Position

Responsible for the daily clinical operations of the designated physician practice(s). Works collaboratively with management and physicians to ensure all clinical operations are consistent with the policies, procedures, and programs of the line of business.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent GED.
• Completion of a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
• Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
• CPR certification required.
• 3–5 years of medical assistant experience.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of clinical operations, service excellence, clinical quality, and education initiatives.
• Familiarity with computers.

Nice To Haves

• Medical assistant experience in a physician office.
• Staff scheduling experience.
• Electronic medical record experience.
