About The Position

Responsible for assisting with the daily clinical and clerical operations of assigned physician practices. Works collaboratively with the physician team to provide quality patient care and support to providers through consistent communication.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent GED.
• Completion of a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
• Current certification as a CMA through AAMA, RMA through AMT, CCMA through NHA, NCMA through NCCT, or CMAC through AMCA.
• CPR certification required.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Medical assistant or physician office experience.
• Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, and clinical quality initiatives.
• Computer familiarity and electronic medical record experience.
