About The Position

Responsible for assisting with the daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Works in collaboration with the physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent GED.
• Completion of a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
• Current certification as a CMA through AAMA, RMA through AMT, CCMA through NHA, NCMA through NCCT, or CMAC through AMCA.
• CPR certification required.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Medical assistant or physician office experience.
• Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, and clinical quality initiatives.
• Familiarity with computers and experience with electronic medical records.
