Powersports Product Manager

About The Position

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is hiring a Powersports Product Manager for its Brands Department. The manager will own Tusk products from idea through delivery to riders, including determining which products to build, selecting manufacturers, ensuring product quality, and maintaining inventory. The role works closely with design, photo/video, merchandising, and customer service teams. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is a 100% employee-owned organization and describes its environment as fast-paced and focused on powersports enthusiasts.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or procurement for physical consumer products.
Working knowledge of powersports equipment, parts, and accessories, including how riders use them.
Experience negotiating with manufacturers, including overseas factories.
Hands-on experience taking products through prototyping, testing, and quality control.
Comfort with inventory forecasting and strong Excel skills.
Clear communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Nice To Haves

A degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
Experience working in an ERP or inventory management system.
Experience with private-label or house-brand products.
Riding experience, whether dirt, trail, dunes, or street.

Responsibilities

Find, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and overseas manufacturers.
Run pricing and feasibility analyses for new products and product lines.
Lead prototype development with the in-house team and overseas factories.
Establish and enforce testing and quality-control standards for products.
Coordinate with the photo and video team on product images, videos, and listings.
Forecast and manage inventory for everyday, holiday, and riding-season demand.
Use customer reviews, questions and answers, and warranty returns to improve existing products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
