About The Position
Staffworxs is seeking an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and modernization of enterprise applications built on the PowerBuilder platform. The role involves working with PowerBuilder and SQL databases, providing application support and troubleshooting, and integrating applications with modern technologies. The position is hybrid in LA and is listed as a contract lasting 6+ months.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using PowerBuilder.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Debug applications, troubleshoot issues, and tune performance.
- Support production deployments and resolve application issues within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, QA teams, and other technical teams.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and deployment guides.
- Support application upgrades, migration, and modernization initiatives.
- Provide estimates for development and enhancement efforts.
