About The Position
Supervisory and skilled electrical and mechanical work in operating systems and machinery related to power generation, frequency conversion, potable water pumping, raw water pumping, and auxiliary related equipment. Work includes monitoring, operating, routine maintenance and minor repairs of water and sewer pumping and control equipment. Work requires shift assignment including nights, weekends and holidays; and related work as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Eight years of utility experience with power generation or frequency conversion or water pumping.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of Civil Service's Leadership (MGMT 830) course.
- Water Production or Distribution Class II license.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, operating, routine maintenance and minor repairs of water and sewer pumping and control equipment.
