About The Position

The Rental Coordinator coordinates and processes rental agreements for customer rentals of Caterpillar and allied equipment and performs tasks in support of the Rental team. The role is critical to day-to-day execution of the rental business to reach acceptable sales and profit levels. The position is located in Manassas, Virginia, and works the first shift.

Requirements

Be a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
Have exceptional customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build solid relationships.
Have excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
Have technical aptitude.
Be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Understand and practice effective sales techniques.
Be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest.
Have computer skills, including Microsoft products and other applications as needed, and be able to learn Caterpillar’s Dealer Business System (DBS) and related rental software programs.
Be able to work additional hours to meet customer and business demands.
Be able to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks with competing demands.
Be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have demonstrated results in a customer service role.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the equipment rental industry and knowledge of equipment applications.
