Power Integrity Engineer

Everpure•Santa Clara, CA
•$180,000 - $270,000•Onsite

About The Position

As a Power Integrity Engineer on Everpure’s Hardware Development Team, you will architect and deliver robust power delivery networks for next-generation enterprise storage solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional hardware engineering teams and external Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) partners to optimize system power distribution, voltage regulation, and thermal performance across complex PCBA architectures. Your work will contribute directly to platform reliability and energy efficiency for enterprise customers. The role includes leading end-to-end power delivery network architecture and high-efficiency voltage regulator design for x86 CPUs and high-performance networking ASICs; simulating and optimizing power integrity and system performance; selecting and qualifying critical power components; and conducting root-cause failure analysis with Operations, Support teams, and JDM partners to improve platform resilience.

Requirements

  • Expertise in power integrity engineering, high-efficiency voltage regulator circuit design, and power delivery network optimization for enterprise-scale hardware systems.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard simulation tools such as Ansys SI-wave, HyperLynx PI, or equivalent software for evaluating and resolving signal and power integrity challenges.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for root-cause failure analysis on system-level hardware and translating findings into design improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional engineering teams, Operations, and external manufacturing partners around technical goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end power delivery network architecture and high-efficiency voltage regulator design for x86 CPUs and high-performance networking ASICs.
  • Conduct power integrity and power delivery network simulations to analyze target impedance, reduce voltage ripple, and optimize transient response across motherboard and system architectures.
  • Select and qualify power components, including controllers, MOSFETs, inductors, and capacitors, and establish design standards and processes to support hardware reliability.
  • Partner with Operations, Support teams, and external JDM partners to conduct root-cause failure analysis of complex technical issues.
  • Deliver systemic design solutions that improve platform resilience and address field escalations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional hardware engineering teams and external manufacturing partners.

Benefits

  • Flexible time off
  • Wellness resources
  • Company-sponsored team events
  • The role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
