About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Pump and Power Road Technician 1. The role performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs safely and effectively, with an emphasis on returning equipment to service and minimizing downtime. The work may require working indoors or outdoors and performing physical activities such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more. Reasonable accommodations may be made in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• DOT Physical Examination (medical card).
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Understanding of basic refrigeration, electrical engines, and controllers.
• Familiarity with CDI and Munters dehumidification equipment.
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, air conditioning, heaters, and shoring; understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors.
• Understanding of compressed air treatment, including dryers, filters, and aftercoolers.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic flow drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Pump & Power equipment.
• Work safely and effectively, emphasizing the return of equipment to service and avoidance of downtime.
