Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of experience in electric power generator maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Good decision-making skills and the ability to follow directions.
  • Effective communication skills and strong work ethic.
  • Organizational prowess to write technical reports and use resources for information.
  • Basic knowledge of Office software, preferably MS Word, Excel, and email.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair Power Systems equipment.
  • Complete service reports, PM checklists, and timecards within department guidelines.
  • Utilize knowledge of SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals to efficiently handle service tasks.
  • Take ownership of jobs, properly segment tasks, and order parts as needed.
  • Communicate job status effectively to clients and office personnel.
  • Conduct complete visual inspections and testing of Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, noting deficiencies as part of preventive maintenance service.
  • Perform thorough preventive maintenance and testing on Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability.
