About The Position

MSR-FSR is seeking a Power BI Developer/Data Analyst to structure information and develop integrated reporting in a fast-paced, high-volume documentation environment. The role calls for a self-motivated, self-sufficient candidate with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI, and experience working with large datasets, structuring data, and supporting business processes for data collection and reporting. Construction knowledge, including semiconductor construction, is preferred but not required. Visa sponsorship is not available. The position combines advanced Power BI development and data analysis with business requirements work and substantial software engineering responsibilities. These include building and optimizing Power BI reports and semantic models; working with SQL, DAX, and Power Query; developing C#/.NET microservices and REST APIs; engineering SQL Server databases; using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions; supporting production applications; and, as applicable, working with React, API documentation, and automated testing. The successful candidate will communicate effectively, analyze and plan well, learn quickly, and work under pressure. They will be organized, detail-oriented, able to handle confidential documents, and effective both independently and in a team, providing leadership when needed. The role requires a customer-focused approach and the ability to handle conflict constructively. Requirements

At least five years of related work experience.
At least three years of experience in Power BI report and dashboard development.
Advanced Power BI development, dimensional data modeling, semantic model design, report optimization, custom visuals, and advanced formatting.
Expert-level SQL for data extraction, transformation, and complex queries.
Advanced DAX and proficiency in the M language for Power Query transformations.
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and gathering requirements from stakeholders.
Experience developing and maintaining C# and ASP.NET Core microservices, including asynchronous programming, RESTful API design, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or EF Core.
Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, index tuning, and schema design and migrations.
Foundational knowledge of Docker and hands-on experience or working familiarity with Kubernetes deployment, pod management, and service configurations.
Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Strong diagnostic and debugging skills for production environments, including log analysis and resolving runtime bottlenecks across microservice architectures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge of Access, Excel, and Power BI.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good analytical and planning skills; ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
General understanding of Primavera P6 project scheduling software.

Responsibilities

Structure information and develop integrated reporting.

Support business processes for collecting required data and reporting on it.
Work with customers and team members, maintaining confidentiality and providing leadership when required.
