About The Position

MSR-FSR is seeking a Power BI Developer/Data Analyst to structure information and develop integrated reporting in a fast-paced, high-volume documentation environment. The role requires a self-motivated and efficient professional with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI, and experience working with large datasets, creating and structuring datasets, and supporting business processes for data collection and reporting. Construction or semiconductor construction knowledge is preferred but not required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

The position combines advanced Power BI development and data analysis with business requirements work and software engineering responsibilities. The developer will build and optimize reports, dashboards, dimensional and semantic data models, and data transformations; extract and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and M; and translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves developing and supporting C#/.NET microservices, SQL Server databases, containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production applications. Additional valuable skills include Power Platform, UI/UX, cloud data platforms, project management, React, and API documentation and testing.

Requirements

• At least five years of related work experience.
• At least three years of advanced Power BI report and dashboard development experience.
• Expert-level SQL skills, including data extraction, transformation, and complex queries.
• Advanced DAX skills for calculated columns, measures, and time intelligence.
• Proficiency in M language for Power Query data transformations.
• Experience with complex dimensional data modeling and semantic model design.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and gathering requirements from stakeholders.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining C# and ASP.NET Core microservices, including asynchronous programming, RESTful API design, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or EF Core.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server proficiency, including complex queries, stored procedures, index tuning, and schema design and migrations.
• Foundational Docker knowledge and hands-on experience or working familiarity with Kubernetes deployment, pod management, and service configurations.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Strong diagnostic and debugging skills for production environments, including log analysis and resolving runtime bottlenecks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Access, Excel, and Power BI.
• General understanding of Primavera P6 project scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Structure information and develop integrated reporting.

• Troubleshoot production applications, analyze logs, debug issues, and resolve runtime bottlenecks across microservice architectures.
• Support business processes for collecting required data and reporting on it.
