About The Position

The Senior Power BI Developer will develop and enhance data warehouse infrastructure supporting enterprise-wide Power BI analytics and reporting. The role bridges technical data engineering and business intelligence, working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. The position requires residence within commutable distance of the office and access to ITAR- and/or EAR-controlled information, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Oracle, Fabric pipeline development, and data warehousing.
• 5+ years of experience with dashboard design, template creation, relational semantic models, DAX calculations, and Power Query.
• 5+ years of advanced SQL experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• 5+ years of ETL/ELT pipeline development and data integration experience.
• 5+ years working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing technical insights and strategic direction.
• Demonstrated experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments, with exposure to supply chain, finance, shipments, and manufacturing shop-floor operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering data solutions that drive business value.
• Must reside within commutable distance to the office location.
• Must meet applicable ITAR/EAR eligibility requirements for access to controlled information; some positions may require current U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and data warehouse schemas, tables, and structures to support business intelligence requirements.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into the enterprise data warehouse, including Oracle and Fabric.
• Develop SQL for data manipulation, quality assurance, and analysis.
• Design and document data models that balance performance, maintainability, scalability, and business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and system integration challenges.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence.
