About The Position

Powder Coat Operators set up the line, scan parts into a computer, hang uncoated parts on the conveyor, unload the line, plug parts, and inspect coated parts. The unloader packs parts as required, including wrapping or layering them in a cage. They also scan quantities, piece counts, and weights into the computer, print labels, and apply stickers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• LOTO awareness-level training.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to use a crane and hoist.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Report to work every scheduled day and on time.
• Communicate proficiently.
• Follow maintenance Lock Out Tag Out procedures when applicable.
• Enter part information and inventory into the ERP system using a computer.
• Visually inspect coated parts to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Plug parts to fill holes.
• Pack parts as required, including wrapping or layering them in a cage.
• Scan quantities, piece counts, and weights into the computer.
• Print labels and apply stickers.
• Use a crane and hoist.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
