About The Position

The Assembly Operator assembles parts in a jig using fastening hardware and air-powered hand tools, following assembly instructions. The operator inspects products to ensure quality and uses an ERP system to enter part and inventory information. The role also involves maintaining and setting up equipment, examining parts during production, and using a motorized walking stacker.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient basic math and computer skills.
• Proficient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Attend work every day and arrive on time as scheduled.
• Communicate proficiently.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Compare parts with work instructions and verify they meet standards and specifications.
• Use a computer to enter part and inventory information in the ERP system.
• Use fixtures and jigs.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment setup to keep equipment running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Examine parts during the production process.
• Execute the scheduling board.
• Use a motorized walking stacker.
