About The Position

At Gilead, the Inflammation biology group is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral scientist to engage in cutting-edge discovery and impactful translational work within immunology and chronic inflammatory diseases, including inflammatory bowel diseases. The successful candidate will lead an independent research project focused on investigating pathogenic mechanisms of inflammatory disorders and identifying novel therapeutic targets. This role is expected to contribute significantly to the understanding of human disease pathogenesis and result in high-quality publications in top-tier scientific journals. The position is a 3-year term, with a potential for extension, and offers a highly collaborative environment with access to world-class research facilities and expertise across multiple functional areas at Gilead.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree
• At least one first author paper published or accepted in a peer-reviewed journal

Nice To Haves

• Strong background in either biochemistry, molecule biology, immunology, or a related area
• Strong skill set in in vivo mouse handling and previous research experience in cellular and molecular immunology

Responsibilities
