The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Indiana University, Bloomington invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to support an NSF funded project titled “Quantifying tectonic and biologic controls on erosion using detrital thermochronology.” The project investigates how vegetation and tectonics interact to control long-term erosion and sediment flux through geologic time. The Postdoctoral Researcher will be mentored by Dr. Andrea Stevens Goddard and will work with a collaborative research team including the PI, graduate students, and external collaborators. The candidate will have access to a fission track analysis laboratory and equipment for (U-Th)/He thermochronology sample preparation.
