The Mass General Brigham Department of Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital is hiring two Postdoctoral Research Fellows to conduct basic research into the function, mechanisms, and translational applications of tRNA-derived small RNAs (tDRs) and RNA pseudouridylation in heart disease, chronic kidney disease, and Alzheimer's disease. The fellows will work with supervision and guidance while carrying out specialized research, analyzing and communicating results, and contributing to manuscripts and grant applications. Assistance guiding research technicians and trainees is expected. The role has a secondary appointment at Harvard Medical School. One opening focuses on molecular and RNA biology; the other focuses on in vivo and surgical research. Applicants should be organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. This is a courtesy posting. Applicants should email a CV and cover letter to Dr. Guoping Li at [email protected] rather than apply through Workday.
