Northeastern University•Boston, MA

About The Position

Northeastern University is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow through the Northeastern University–Moderna Academic–Industrial Fellowship Program. The Fellow will support pharmacometrics (PMx) efforts while embedded in Moderna’s Clinical and Quantitative Pharmacology (CQP) function. The role contributes modeling and simulation deliverables for drug candidates in early and late clinical development across multiple therapeutic modalities. The Fellow will support Moderna project leads by evaluating and implementing model-informed drug development strategies, including population PK/PD, exposure–response, and mechanistic systems modeling. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners within CQP and across the broader development organization, applying quantitative methods and domain knowledge to inform development decisions. At Northeastern University, the Fellow will contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, and mentoring junior trainees in the academic laboratory environment. The Fellow will have opportunities to author manuscripts, present at national and international scientific conferences, and participate in professional development activities. Clear, concise, and scientifically rigorous presentations for internal and external audiences are expected.
