About The Position

The Mass General Brigham Department of Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Fellows to conduct basic research into the function, mechanisms, and translational applications of tRNA-derived small RNAs (tDRs) and RNA pseudouridylation in heart disease, chronic kidney disease, and Alzheimer's disease. The fellows will bring complementary expertise in molecular/RNA biology or in vivo/surgical research. The role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The secondary appointment will be at Harvard Medical School. With supervision and guidance, fellows will conduct specialized experiments, adapt and troubleshoot research protocols, analyze and interpret data, maintain detailed electronic laboratory records, present findings, prepare manuscripts, and assist with grant applications. Assistance guiding research technicians and trainees is expected. The position is onsite at 55 Fruit Street. The compensation range is $71,750–$81,179, with the specific range influenced by experience and organizational guidelines. Applications should be emailed with a CV and cover letter to Dr. Guoping Li; applications submitted only through Workday may not be forwarded.
