About The Position

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Postdoctoral Part-Time Professor for the Discrete Structures course (CSI2101, Section B) during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course covers discrete structures as they apply to computer science, algorithm analysis and design, predicate logic, proof techniques, induction, graph theory, program correctness, analysis of recursive programs, properties of integers, and basic cryptographical applications. The course is delivered in person and requires the professor to attend tutorials for at least one hour per week on average, in addition to the scheduled class times. Requirements

Doctorate in a field related to the course, or a relevant work experience in a field related to the course after obtaining a Ph.D.
Excellent knowledge of course subject matter, demonstrated by having taught similar or related courses, or demonstrated by relevant work experience.
Ability to teach in person.
Completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
